Quality Manager (Jeffersonville, IN)
Responsibilities include:
Define and oversee the implementation of quality standards, policies and procedures for the processing of industrial products.
Oversee, direct and train a team of direct reports including 2 Quality Supervisors and 4 Quality Team Leads. Implement and maintain a Quality Management Systems, including conducting LPAs (Layered Process Audits) and Root Cause Analysis of quality issues.
Maintain IATF (International Automotive Task Force) compliance records.
Monitor and submit Cost Recovery Data.
Ensure company products and services meet and exceed customer requirements.
Conduct daily process and documentation audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Approve inspection criteria and procedures. Monitor KPIs. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality issues and corrective actions. Oversee investigations. Monitor quality and overall effectiveness of processes.
Create, evaluate and improve processes to increase safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with managerial colleagues to maximize product realizability and minimize production cost. 24 months’ experience in the position offered and/or as Regional Operations Manager.
2 years of experience in: 8D, Root cause analysis, Fishbone diagrams, & Quality performance Pareto Charts for corrective actions. Establishing APQP, Quality Control plans, PFMEA, PPAP, SOPs. Using Plex & Cris ERP systems. Maintaining titrate tanks, including: corrosion, humidity & water immersion testing; performing panel readings on Zinc, Phosphate & Alkaline; maintaining specifications for adhesion, paint mixing, paint viscosity readings & Mil thickness. Establishing KPIs.
40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. $65,200 /year.
